Quality Assurance Lead

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Lead to join our team. This is a 35 hours per week, full-time, permanent role offering a salary of £31,410 to £43,440 per annum.

Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively implement the College strategy for quality assurance and improvement across all provision types (including subcontracted delivery) to drive identified initiatives which ensure that college targets are met.
• Lead on work with external awarding body organisations to ensure College compliance and performance, addressing areas for development and/or highlighting best practice.
• Provide professional guidance and training to curriculum staff on assessment, IQA, and quality expectations.
• Lead the digitisation and automation of quality assurance processes, including Student Voice, self-assessment, and performance tracking systems.
• Work closely with Information Services teams to design and implement new digital tools that enhance efficiency and accessibility of quality data.

Skills and Qualifications:

• L2 Qualifications in Maths and English
• Professional Teaching Qualification
• Degree-level qualification in a relevant subject area.
• Experience of Quality Assurance and Improvement in an Education environment.
• Experience of working across multiple departments or with external stakeholders, including employers and awarding bodies.
• Strong understanding of awarding body requirements, assessment methodologies, and quality assurance processes.
