Additional Learning Support Tutor
We are looking for an Additional Learning Support Tutor to join our team. This is a 35 hours per week, full-time, permanent role offering a salary of £31,410 to £43,440 per annum.

Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support for students with SEND and additional learning needs.
- Support students to develop study skills, organisation, time management, literacy, numeracy, communication, and independent learning skills.
- Assist students in achieving targets identified within Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), Additional Learning Support Plans, or Individual Learning Plans.
- Promote student independence and reduce reliance on support where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure learning materials and teaching approaches are accessible and inclusive.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Full recognised teaching qualification.
- Level 2 English and maths.
- Qualification in a SEND / Inclusions related area or a commitment to working towards a recognised qualification.
- Successful practice in assessing, teaching and supporting learners with learning difficulties/disabilities/ or special educational needs.
- Experience in delivering a range of additional learning support services together with a good understanding of common learning difficulties and disabilities, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia and mental health needs.
