Bank Maths and English Assessor
Wirral Met College are currently looking for a Maths and English Assessor to support our Maths and English department for a period of 3 months. This is due to commence in December but exact start and end dates are to be confirmed.
Bank staff are paid at an hourly rate.
Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities:
The focus of the role is to assess learners for their current working level in English and Maths in order to find the right course for the learner to progress with their Literacy and/or Numeracy.
Qualifications/Experience
- Appropriate qualification in English / maths assessment, at minimum L3 or above, eg. Educational Guidance, support or teaching.
- English GCSE and/or L2 Functional English
- Maths GCSE and/or L2 Functional Maths
- Experience of assessment in an education or training setting
- Able to demonstrate effective analytical and planning skills and the ability to work within agreed timescales.
